Large folio (approximately 18.25 x 14 inches). Six pages of text by
William Saroyan, followed by twenty-four tipped-in original
lithographs by Al Hirschfeld on handmade Canson paper. Publisher's
white cloth lettered in brown with central color illustration to
front board. Brown endpapers. Spine bumped and rubbed, some
thumbsoiling to binding, faint pen marks to front cover and spine,
upper corners bumped, minor thumbsoiling in text, a few plates
foxed. Still, very good. Lively and colorful depictions of the
people and nightlife of Harlem by the famed caricaturist.
