Limited edition of 26 extra-illustrated copies printed to Japanese vellum paper for subscribers, this set being lettered "Q" and printed for Frederick R. Bill, lacking the original document signed by one of the Queens as called for. 16 volumes. Individually paginated, each with list of plates at rear. Profusely illustrated with engraved plates, each in two states with captioned tissue guards, and text illustrations. Uniformly bound publisher's full bright red levant morocco, spine lettered in gilt with five raised bands. Spines sunned, a few volumes with light abrasions to boards. Elaborate doublures in brown, red, blue, and green morocco onlays depicting English coats-of-arms, decorated in gilt, red moiré silked free endpapers. Internally clean and tight, all edges gilt; minor intermittent thumbsoiling, minor wear to gilt on edges. Near fine or better.
