Publisher's light gray paper-covered boards, spine lettered in red, front with publisher's device stamped in red; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild lean to spine; a bit of wear at spine ends causing gray coating to crack, scratch at backstrip below author's name, very slight creases extending into lettering from head and foot; white specks of soiling at lower corners of boards, with tiny spot of dark soiling at front; corners tapped, small amount of color rubbed off of lower corners; faint soiling at front fore-edge turn-in. Top and fore-edge of text block lightly tanned; trace of dust-soiling to top; staining at upper half of fore-edge; faint discoloration at edges of endpapers. Just a touch of wear at spine and flap fold ends; mild rubbing at spine and rear panels; two tiny abrasions at front panel resulting in specks of color loss; soft creasing at rear panel fold and flap folds; faint rubbing at verso. Near fine.
