Publisher's full black cloth, front and spine stamped in red. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Spine very slightly skewed; mild shelf wear to binding; spine ends gently pushed; a bit of wear at joints; front board bowed. Top edge of text block faintly darkened; normal light toning to remaining edges and interior of text block. Jacket moderately toned and rubbed at exposed panels, with some wear along edges and folds; minimal paper loss, fraying at spine and flap fold ends; a few spots of staining to rear panel. Small amount of staining and slight discoloration to verso. Near fine book in a very good jacket. Christie's third short story collection, and the first appearance in book form of Harley Quin, her scarcest and most enigmatic detective.
