Publisher's full grayish cloth; front and spine lettered in black; spine with knife decoration in red and black; front with red question mark design. Original illustrated dust jacket. Fore-edge untrimmed; others trimmed; top edge stained red. Mild shelf wear and discoloration at extremities of binding; spine ends just a touch pushed. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge a bit dusty. Previous owner bookplate tipped to front pastedown. General light toning to jacket; mild rubbing at exposed panels; soft vertical crease to spine panel; a bit of edge wear at spine ends resulting in tiny tear at top edge. Near fine. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
