Publisher's greenish blue cloth, spine and front lettered in black; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine leaning; fairly mild discoloration at backstrip and joints; spine ends just starting to fray; cloth thinning at joints with small hole at toward bottom of front joint, possibly from insect damage; edges and corners of boards occasionally tapped, with areas of discoloration and mild wear; small bump at bottom edge of front board toward joint resulting in very short tear to cloth. Text block dulled with age; top edge very slightly darkened; several tiny abrasions and some small areas of rubbing to bottom; specks of foxing and tanning from binding process visible at endpapers; very faint, marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout. Jacket spine panel sunned just a shade, with single crease running vertical length; light rubbing at joints, rear panel, and flap folds; pencil mark and cut measuring approximately 2.5" at rear panel; flaps clipped. Near fine.
