Agatha Christie. The Moving Finger. London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1943. First edition. Octavo. 160 pages. Publisher's full red cloth, spine lettered in black. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Minimal shelf wear to binding; spine ends a bit softened; touch of mild discoloration and dust-soiling to top edge. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block. A few faint spots of foxing to front endpapers. Some toning, rubbing and a bit of foxing to exposed panels of jacket; slight wear at spine and flap fold ends, resulting in a tiny amount of fraying; handful of very short tears along top edge, with one toward middle of front joint. Scattered foxing at verso. Very nearly fine.

Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Barely perceptible shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends slightly pushed; soft bumping to corners; faint offsetting or toning from dust jacket design visible at front board. Normal mild age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge a bit dusty. Edge wear to jacket resulting in light fraying minimal paper loss at spine and flap fold ends; a few very short tears along top edge, essentially invisible from recto; light rubbing to exposed panels. Three small tape repairs at top edge of verso. Very nearly fine. Widely advertised as Christie's fiftieth book.
