Publisher's orange cloth, spine and front board lettered in black. Covers lightly soiled with some minor spotting and a series of small splashes; backstrip dulled, front board faintly dulled; rear joint starting with the cloth splitting toward the bottom edge, cloth frayed; short closed tears at the upper edge of both joints; edges lightly worn; boards barely exposed at corners; front board gently bowed. Text block lightly foxed, particularly at the page edges and preliminary and terminal leaves; first and last two items very slightly sprung. Good. One of Christie's most popular works, twice adapted for the screen. Published in the U. S. as Murder in the Calais Coach.
