DescriptionAgatha Christie. Murder on the Orient Express. London: The Crime Club Ltd., 1934. First edition. Octavo (7.25 x 4.875 inches; 183 x 123 mm.). 254,  pages. In-text plan. Publisher's full orange cloth, front and spine lettered in black. All edges trimmed. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; backstrip a touch faded; spine ends just starting to soften; a couple of corners bumped. Normal, very mild age toning to edges and interior of text block; handful of small spots to edges. Interior clean and bright. Very nearly fine. A Hercule Poirot novel, and basis for several radio, film and television adaptations, including a 2010 miniseries episode starring David Suchet at Poirot, and the 2017 film directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh.
