Publisher's black cloth, front and spine lettered in green with green-stamped holly ornament on front. Very slight skew to spine; cloth thinning just a touch at spine ends, foot of spine crimped; minimal shelf wear along bottom edges. Text block slightly dulled from age; a small area or two of scuffing to top edge; a few small smudges to bottom; previous owner signature effaced from front free endpaper. Crease running vertical length of spine panel starting to split from top edge, to roughly .75"; trace of edge wear to black panels resulting in a tiny amount of color loss; general light rubbing to exposed panels, most pronounced at joint and flap folds; soft creasing at flap folds; front flap gently rippled; flaps clipped. Near fine. Published originally in England in 1938 under the title Hercule Poirot's Christmas.
