Publisher's full red-orange cloth, front and spine stamped in black. Original illustrated dust jacket with red-paper Red Badge Mystery wraparound band. Fore-edge untrimmed; others trimmed; top edge stained red. Minor shelf and joint wear to binding; spine ends pushed and just starting to fray; bottom corners slightly bumped; faint spot or two of soiling to boards. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge a bit darkened and dust-soiled; a bit of rubbing to bottom edge. Small handful of thumbsoiling spots and small stains scattered throughout at margins. Mild edge wear to jacket, most pronounced at spine ends; general light rubbing to exposed panels; some soft creasing long spine panel and at flap folds. Mild rubbing and soft creasing to wraparound band, with small bump at rear joint. About fine book in near fine jacket and wraparound band.
