    Octavo. [viii], 326, [2, blank] pages. Publisher's red-brown mesh cloth, front cover and spine lettered in orange, dust jacket. Jacket spine lacking lower quarter and browned, joints torn, some wear and chipping to edges, jacket spine with tape repair on recto, and tape residue on verso. previous owner's inkstamps on rear jacket flap. Binding a bit worn, with some loss to lettering, text shaken, hinges cracked, some moderate thumbsoil in text. Still, a good copy. Inscribed copies of his fantasy books are quite rare. Merritt's fantasy books were quite influential on several authors, including H. P. Lovecraft.
