Three-quarter leather binding with raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Top edges gilt. Marble endpapers. Bumping to extremities, and some minor crumbling to the binding. Overall, very good.

    Covers the region of the state south and west of the Guadalupe River, with much material on San Antonio. Many biographical sketches of local leaders and settlers to the region.
