Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered and stamped in gilt, front board lettered in gilt and stamped in gilt and black; all edges trimmed; plain endpapers. Backstrip lightly dulled with a couple small ripples near font joint; spine gilt very lightly tarnished on a couple letters; a touch of rubbing to the black stamp of the front board; spine ends and corners rubbed. Light soiling to the top edge of the text block; page edges and endpapers foxed; bookplate. Still, a sharp near fine copy, housed in a custom clamshell case. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
