First edition, English issue, one of only 100 copies printed in English, out of a total edition of 250. Two quarto volumes. [117]; [91] pages. With 191 plates containing 667 eggs, of which 617 are printed in color - the rest in collotype. Bound in contemporary half dark green levant morocco over marbled boards, spines tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, marbled endleaves. Bindings quite rubbed, text and plates bright. Overall, a very good copy.
