Uniformly bound in publisher's full leather with gilt-stamped initials 'AAM' within dark-brown stamped geometric device on front board, ruled in gilt and dark brown, and with pictorial gilt-stamped spine. Corners bumped, moderate edgewear, moderate wear to spine ends. Illustrated endpapers; Winnie-the-Pooh with rear endpapers toned. Internally generally clean, all edges gilt; minor intermittent soiling. Very good.

    Produced as the first "collected" set, issued after publication of the final Christopher Robin book, The House at Pooh Corner (1928). The text block and Shepard illustrations are taken from concurrent trade editions, now in special leather bindings.
