One of 350 numbered copies on handmade paper, signed by both the author and illustrator, this copy being No. 332. Small quarto (8.75 x 7 inches; 221 x 180 mm.). xi, [1, blank], 178, [1], [1, printer's imprint] pages. Text illustrations. Original quarter light blue buckram over cream-colored paper over boards with printed paper label on front cover. This copy is unopened and uncut. Foxing to boards, printed paper label and edges. Free endpapers a bit darkened on half not protected by jacket flap. Front board with small bubble near bottom edge, rear board bumped at both fore-edge corners. Old bookseller description attached to front free endpaper with two small pieces of cellophane tape. Small ink spot to outer fore-edge margin of page 60. Otherwise a very good copy in the original pale blue dust jacket printed in dark blue on front cover and spine. Jacket lightly soiled and foxed; spine darkened and scuffed; large piece of jacket missing from bottom half of the front panel, other tears and paper loss to the top and bottom edges of spine.
