[Together with:] Michael and Mary. London: Chatto & Windus, 1930. First edition, limited to 260 copies, of which this is number forty-one, and signed by the author. [and:] The Christopher Robin Birthday Book. London: Methuen, [1930]. First edition, inscribed by the author on the front endpaper: "Piglet Wilkin (née Veronica) with love from A. A. Milne," dated January 2, 1931. Three octavo volumes. Publisher's bindings. The Secret and Michael and Mary near fine, with some general light shelfwear, corners and spine ends lightly worn. The Christopher Robin Birthday Book about very good, boards rubbed and lightly soiled; spine faded; joints rubbed; edges lightly worn; endpapers spotting; over-opened at page 185; some leaves soiled; a few names written in ink throughout (probably on their birthdays). A nice collection overall.
