    Publisher's Dust Wrapper and Box

[W. Russell Flint, illustrator]. HOMER. The Odyssey of Homer. London & Boston: The Medici Society, 1924. Done into English Prose by S.H. Butcher & Andrew Lang with Twenty Plates in Color after the Water-Colour Drawings of W. Russell Flint, A.R.A. and Published at Seven Grafton Street by The Medici Society... Limited to 530 numbered copies, of which 500 are for sale, this copy being number 470. Quarto. Beautifully illustrated with twenty color plates. Full white cloth, label on spine, dust jacket. Jacket a bit sunned on spine and just starting to lightly crack in places along the front joint, some chipping to extremities, a bit of foxing but generally a very clean attractive example of the jacket. Overall, a fine copy of a very scare book in the very scarce dust jacket. Housed in the publisher's original box with printed label on top.
