    [Virgil. Symbolarum Libri XVII. Augsburg: 1599]. Early edition. Three quarto volumes. Contemporary half calf over marble paper covered boards, gilt titles and red and black morocco labels on spines. Boards rubbed, leather chipping a bit on joints, corners bumped. Lacking the title-leaf, text block edges somewhat toned, occasional spots of foxing, pencil and ink marks and annotation in outer margins of text. Volume I has dampstain on lower margin of preliminary gatherings. Volume II has stains on upper margin of terminal leaves. Volume III has small stain on fore-edge. Still, in very good condition, though incomplete.
