Full limp vellum by the Doves Bindery with gilt spine titles (stamp-signed at the bottom of the rear pastedown). Moderate dust-soiling to binding. Minor toning to textblock edges. Near fine. [and:] George Parker Winship. William Caxton. A Paper Read at a Meeting of the Club of Odd Volumes in Boston Massachusetts. Hammersmith: The Doves Press, 1909. First edition, one of 300 copies printed on paper in red and black by T. J. Cobden-Sanderson at the Doves Press. Small quarto. 26 pages plus colophon. Vellum spine over blue paper boards by the Doves Bindery with gilt spine titles (stamp-signed at the bottom of the rear pastedown). Moderate wear to binding. Significant abrading to vellum spine, affecting some gilt titling. Light toning around the edges of the binding. Very good. [and:] Catalogue Raisonné. Books Printed and Published at the Doves Press. Hammersmith: The Doves Press, 1908. First edition, printed on paper in red and black by T. J. Cobden-Sanderson at the Doves Press. Small quarto. 8 pages. Original tan cloth spine over blue paper boards by the Doves Bindery (stamp-signed at the bottom of the rear pastedown). Additionally, a simpler version of this catalog, printed in black, apparently intended as an ephemeral advertisement item, is laid in (one vertical and one horizontal fold). Light toning around the edges of the binding. Near fine.
