    [Screenplays]. Lot of 6 Photocopied Screenplays. [Various places: dates]. Various drafts. One screenplay is in two parts. Together, seven quarto volumes. Some in wrappers, one screenplay, The Six-Year Old Man, is an unbound carbon typescript copy, signed by the screenwriter, Stanley Elkin. The other screenplays are three-hole punched, bound together with brad clips. Some wear, soiling to wrappers and text, some with ink titles to spines, two have previous owner's signatures. Elkin's script is housed in the original cardboard box and a later clamshell case. Generally very good. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.

    Titles include: The Six-Year Old Man by Stanley Elkin; Portnoy's Complaint, by Ernest Lehman based on Philip Roth's novel; Evening in Byzantium by Glen A. Larson and Michael Sloan (script in two parts); Car by Terry Southern, based on the novel by Harry Crews; Detroit Abe (later Doctor Detroit) by Bruce Jay Friedman; And Molly Makes Three by Claude Travers, based on Larry McMurtry's novel, Leaving Cheyenne.
