Original beveled black cloth stamped in silver on front cover and spine in a design by Kent. Top edges stained black. Housed in its original aluminum slipcase. Light offsetting from the illustrations, as is usual. Boards lightly rubbed, spines sun toned and rubbed with minor loss to white lettering; small margin tear to plate facing page 272 in volume one; tiny chips to pastedown edges and small paper holes near spine ends of front hinge in volume three from biopredation; occasional unobtrusive smudges or finger creases. Aluminum slip case scuffed, scratched, and bumped, lightly soiled, and with a holograph number on its lower face; otherwise very good.
