    Fifteen octavos. Publisher's bindings, six in dust jackets, Thoreau in a slipcase with rubbing and shelfwear. Some soiling, edgewear, and rubbing on dust jackets, spine panels darkened. Dust jacket of Emily Dickinson: Friend and Neighbor has multiple cellophane tape repairs on recto and verso of spine panel, tears on creases of flaps and cover panels. General rubbing and wear on extremities. Light toning on page edges. The Personality of Thoreau inscribed by the publisher on front free endpaper. Selected Poems and West with the Night have light scattered foxing. Nature; Addresses, and Lectures has ink ownership signature on front free endpaper, small open tear on upper corner of pp. [283/284]. Cape Cod has sunning on spines and outer portions of covers, corners bumped, occasional pencil marks, preliminary sheets in both volumes shaken or detached and laid-in. West with the Night has personal gift inscription "from Mom." Overall, very good.
