With Photographic Images by Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Clarence H. White, and Edited by Stieglitz

[Photography]. [Alfred Stieglitz, editor and contributor]. Camera Notes. Official Organ of the Camera Club of New York. Volume IV. Published by the Camera Club: New York, 1900-1901. First edition. Collecting all quarterly issues of volume IV (July, 1900 to April, 1901). Quarto. [4, uniform title and index], 286 pages. With twenty-three (of twenty-four) photographic images (from platinotype, gum-print or carbon print) inserted throughout, reckoned within pagination. With two slips inserted. Bound in contemporary half burgundy morocco over brown cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt. Binding worn, especially at joints and edges, text a bit shaken, page 257 loose, this copy apparently bound without page 281/282. Eva L. Watson's print entitled "A Study Head" on page 205 missing. A few mounts stamped "Trenton Photographic Society" on blank rectos. Some matted mounts split, yet photos are still present. Still, a very good copy of this rare look into early American art photography.
