    [Original Art]. Original Matte Drawing from Tarzan and his Mate. MGM, 1934. Pastel on illustration board, likely by MGM special effects artist Warren Newcombe. Panel E-6 from the "Elephant's Graveyard" sequence in Tarzan and his Mate. Sight size is 20.5 x 26.5 inches, matted to an overall size of approximately 25 x 31 inches. The matte drawing was used as a background, used in composite with live action footage. Some creasing and edge tears, with numerous pinholes along edges. Dampstaining on verso. Very good. Rare.
