[1, title page], [1,blank], [4, dedication], [xvi, A table of the arguments of each several chapter], 686, [2, a table of the chapters in The Prince]. Modern green morocco, boards ruled in gilt, gilt titles on spine, all edges red. Marbled endpapers. Text block edges a bit darkened, outer margins modestly dust-soiled with some light water-staining, sporadic ink and pencil marks and stains, some of which affect text, pages faintly toned with age. A very good copy housed in a marble paper covered slipcase.
