    [Mary Ann Kilner]. Memoirs of a Peg-Top. By the Author of Adventures of a Pincushion. London: Printed and Sold by John Marshall, [circa 1790]. Twelvomo (3.25 x 4 inches; 83 x 102 mm). 90, [2] pages (last two pages contain a list of books printed and sold by John Marshall). Engraved frontispiece plus twenty-seven woodcuts. Bound in Dutch floral boards; spine worn, binding lightly rubbed. Internally generally clean but slight foxing along edges of some pages and light dampstaining; otherwise good. Ink ownership inscription to recto of frontispiece and to top margin of title page.

    A rare copy of this work, attributed to Mary Ann Kilner (1753-1831), who had previously written The Adventures of a Pincushion (circa 1780).
