In the Bright, Full-Color Dust Jacket

[L. Frank Baum]. Ruth Plumly Thompson. The Wishing Horse of Oz. Illustrated by John R. Neill. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., [1935].

First edition, first state, with color plates and blank endpapers. Octavo. 298 pages. With twelve full-color plates coated on the printed side.

Publisher's lavender cloth with pictorial label affixed to front cover and black spine titles. No headbands. In the scarce original first issue dust jacket with twenty-eight titles listed on the rear flap. Minor wear and very light soiling to boards. Bottom spine end bumped. Corners lightly rubbed. Internal contents clean and bright. Light wear and minor paper loss to dust jacket extremities. A few vertical creases. A one-inch closed tear to top of front flap fold smoothed out. This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
