[2, limitation page], [2, title page], [i-viii], 9-205, [206] pages. Limitation page detached and laid-in. Original vellum over boards decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt on front cover and spine, two dark blue rules on front cover, top edge gilt, fore-edge and tail edge untrimmed, with original silk ties. Pictorial endpapers. Boards splayed, dent with minor loss on front board near spine's tail, boards and board edges rubbed and lightly soiled affecting text on spine tail, rear board faintly stained. Text block edges and outer margins of leaves mildly toned with light spots of foxing, occasional faint soiling and thumbprints on outer margins, moderate foxing on endpapers. A very good copy with beautiful color illustrations. From a Private Collection in St. Charles, IL.
