Typed Letter Signed, "Jerry Siegel", one page, 8.5 x 11 inch plain paper, to Richard Lupoff, regarding submissions to Canaveral Press, including the manuscript of "The Road to Lucre." With two stamps for return postage should Lupoff decide against the submission, the original mailing envelope, a photocopy of the fanzine Science Fiction, the Advance Guard of Future Civilization,: Vol. 1, #3, and an interesting strip of 16mm film with a complete Superman comic strip story. Paperclip stains to the TLS, usual mailing folds, else fine. [and:] George Lowther. Superman. New York: Random House, 1942. First appearance of Superman in book form. Octavo. 215 pages. Illustrated by Joe Shuster, some in color. Publisher's original red cloth with blue titles and decorative stamping. Original illustrated dust jacket. Minor staining and edge wear to the boards. Toning to the endpapers and text edges. Noticeable wear, chipping, and tape stains to the jacket. A very good book in a fair jacket. Overall, a unique offering of Superman-related material.
