Contemporary calf. Titles stamped in gilt on a black leather spine label. Poor repair to front joint, otherwise light shelf wear to boards. Contents reasonably bright and overall a very good copy.
General James Wolfe, young by a general's standards, is chiefly remembered for his victory over the French in Canada. Wolfe was killed as he advanced during the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759.
