    [Isaiah Thomas]. The Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments: together with the Apocrypha: translated out of the original tongues, with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by the special command of King James I, of England. With marginal notes and references. To which are added, an index, and an alphabetical table of all the names in the Old and New Testaments, with their significations. Worcester: Isaiah Thomas, 1791. First Royal Quarto edition. 1,310 pages (continuous pagination) issued with the 89 page A Brief Concordance... by John Brown. Four title pages, including main title page, Old Testament title page, New Testament title page, and Concordance title page. Two engraved frontispieces. Full leather with ruled boards, five raised bands on spine, no titles. Bookplate of Anne C. Morrel and ink stamp on front pastedown, ink stamp on lower left corner of title page, holograph ownership signature of Nancy Woohull on verso of Old Testament title page. Between the Apocrypha and the New Testament are two printed pages for family records of marriages, births of children and deaths, which have holograph pen entries, including on verso of frontispiece to the New Testament. Boards rubbed with loss of leather, joints cracking, leather on spine stressed, the spine is cracking along the New Testament section, head and foot of spine worn with minor leather and band loss, glue on head of spine; tape along front hinge, image off-set from frontispieces onto main title page and New Testament title page, foxing and soiling, browning, edge wear and small tears, occasional minor paper loss in margins from biopredation, otherwise in good condition.
