Publisher's green cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Boards slightly bowed; minor shelf wear and discoloration at extremities of binding; slight loss to gilt lettering, lettering at backstrip slightly tarnished. Very faint age discoloration to endpapers; bookseller ticker at front pastedown. Text block yellowed just a touch; series of small, shallow scratches to edges. Small chips and some nicking at spine and flap fold ends of jacket, reinforced with a few small pieces of clear tape at verso; light rubbing and some faint soiling; folds softly creased.
