Contemporary red morocco over beveled boards, five raised panels at spine, spine and boards decoratively stamped in gilt with gilt fillet decorations and inside dentelles; all text block edges trimmed and gilt; marbled endpapers. Fairly mild wear to spine ends, bands, and joints; minor scratching to boards; light edge wear. Front hinge just starting to crack, but still sound. Foxing scattered throughout interior; previous owner inking at recto of front flyleaf. Very good. With bright, full-color fore-edge painting, a city view of Rome.
