[Eudora Welty]. Katherine Anne Porter. Eudora Welty: A Note on the Author and Her Work... Together with The Key, one of seventeen stories from Miss Welty's forthcoming A Curtain of Green. [Garden City: Doubleday, Doran and Company, 1941]. First edition of Welty's first separate publication a publicity pamphlet preceding Welty's first full book. Octavo. We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
