[Edward Rawson & Samuel Sewall]: The Revolution in New-England Justified, and the People there Vindicated from the Aspersions Cast upon them by Mr. John Palmer, in his pretended answer to the Declaration published by the inhabitants of Boston (Boston: Isaiah Thomas, 1770s), 59 pages, string bound, 12mo (4.75" x 7.25"), housed in a blue cloth slipcase. Signed "James Otis 1773" at the top of the first page of text. Otis was an American revolutionary, and friend of Samuel Adams. Someone must have poured over the text in this pamphlet, as it shows signs of noticeable wear. The title page is detached, shows significant paper loss, and has been repaired, unfortunately, with two pieces of modern Scotch tape. The lower corners of the fore-edge of the first 12 pages also have paper loss, affecting the text on the first two pages. Still, this is a rare American Revolutionary-era pamphlet signed by one of the agitators himself.
