Description

[Edgar Rice Burroughs]. John Bloodstone, pseudonym of Stuart J. Byrne. Tarzan on Mars. N.p.: N.p., n.d. Large octavo. 344 pages. Bound in bright red buckram, with black morocco gilt-stamped label to spine. Boards lightly rubbed. Else fine. The infamous continuation of ERB's Tarzan series and John Carter of Mars series, originally written in 1954. Hailed as a successful attempt by many ERB aficionados (which purportedly included Ray Bradbury), the manuscript was never officially published as it was never sanctioned by the Edgar Rice Burroughs Estate. As author Byrne wrote of his own oft-bootlegged work, "the novel has lived an underground existence among ERB fans, and in spite of the years has refused to die." From the Jerry Weist Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
