This is an early history of the events of the war in the first year, written while the war was still going on. Half-bound in black and brown with marbled endpapers and gilt lettering to spine. On the preface page is written: "Found this at the house of Mr. Hairstin near Noonday Creek about 4 miles from Kenesaw Mt. June 1864." Major Robert Burns, to whom this belongs, has also written his name and the following on the front free endpaper: "R. Burns/Mr. Hairstins house near Kenesaw Mt June 20-22 1864." Major Burns found this volume around the time of the Battle of Noonday Creek, part of the Atlanta Campaign, during mid to late June, 1864.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
