    [Church Music Manuscript] Antoine Louis Duprez. Livre D'Eglise Conforme aux Brevaire & Missel de Soissons. Soissons: 1777. 

    Two quarto volumes. [2], 280, 38; 282-512, xxii, 39 pages. Many internal decorations (stencils?) and headline borders. Handsome painted covers, gilt borders, gilt spines, title-labels on red morocco, all edges gilt, reading ribbons, boards rubbed, some edge and hinge damage with a few small areas of surface loss at the borders on both covers, but quite handsome overall, bookplate of "Fossè D'Arcosse Jurisdictions Consularis Praesse, Suessione." Occasional minor stains, light bleedthrough on some pages from the manuscript music on the verso, else a very good copy. From the Krown & Spellman Collection.

    This manuscript was compiled for Pierre Devaux, Chantre de St. Leger. Handsome manuscript of the church music for Soissons. Four line staves with square notes with text beneath. The Propre Des Temps and Propre Des Saints.
