    [Christopher Robin Milne]. A. A. Milne. Year In, Year Out. With decorations by E. H. Shepard. London: Methuen & Co., [1952]. First edition, inscribed and signed by Christopher Robin Milne to half-title, "Lots of love and good wishes / from / Christopher Robin Milne. / Harbour Bookshop / Dartmouth / Devon / July 25, 1952." Octavo. 215 pages. Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt; spine heavily sunned and toned to gray, some sunning to top of boards. Cream colored endpapers, all edges trimmed, spine slightly cocked; some spotting to endpapers. Internally generally clean and bright, text block a touch toned. Lacking dust jacket. Still, very good.

    [With:] A small archive of Christopher Robin Milne material, including an autograph letter signed to "Joyce," an autograph letter signed to "Mrs. Gaus" with mailing envelope, and a three page autograph letter signed on two sheets to Mrs. Gaus and Joyce. Lot also includes a Christmas Card from the Harbour Bookshop to the Gaus family signed by "Christopher [Milne] and Lesley," a Christmas card signed "Lesley and Christopher Milne" (possibly in Lesley's hand), and a hand painted watercolor Easter card, all to the same. Also includes a photograph of Christopher Milne holding three dogs, identified on the verso as "Christopher Robin Milne / aged 25" in an unknown hand and a newspaper clipping from Christopher Milne's time as a student at Cambridge.
