    More Information:

This book, about the suffering and escape of an inmate of the infamous French penal colony, Devil's Island, was one of the source books for the 1944 film, Passage to Marseille (the other was Men Without Country by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall, 1942, Little, Brown). The film was an attempt to recapture the enormous success of Casablanca, and had the same director, much of the original cast (Bogart, Rains, Lorre, as well as Sidney Greenstreet who has not signed), but did not fare as well at the box office.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
