Ltd, 1897. Limited edition of fifteen copies, of which this copy is numbered "11" and signed by the author on the limitation page. Two folio volumes, the first with text and illustrated plates; the second being a collection of duplicate plates from the first. Both volumes uniformly bound in half morocco over marbled paper covered boards with matching marbled endpapers. [together with:] W.P. Barrett. LV. Book Plates. Engraved on Copper from Designs by W.P. Barrett. London: John & E. Bumpus, Ltd., 1900. Holograph limitation statement, "Limited Edition of 260 copies/ of which 250 are for sale./ W.P. Barrett/ No. 181." [and:] Ex-Libris Georges Hantz. Leipzig: Karl W. Hiersemann, 1908. Twenty-five specimens of bookplates, each tipped into an individual windowed folder, one title page, and two three page Forewords in German and in French; all housed in folding printed board covers with ties. [and:] P. Neville Barnett. Woodcut Book-Plates. Sydney: Privately Printed, 1934. Limited edition of two hundred-ten signed and numbered copies, of which this is copy number "30", signed by the author on the limitation page. A retrospective of bookplates with examples from around the world tipped-in to text, a few of which are signed by its artist. [and:] [Frederick Warnecke, editor]. Rare Book-plates (Ex-Libris) of the XVth and XVIth Centuries, by Albert Duerer, H. Burgmair, H.S. Beham. Virgil Solis, Jost Amman etc. London: H. Grevel & Co., 1894. Limited to 100 copies. Five sections (series) complete in one volume. Half red morocco over cloth covered boards, marbled end papers, upper edge gilt. Many leaves reinforced on stubs with cloth tape. Included is a duplicate copy of series one in its original printed and illustrated wrappers.
    Bindings rubbed and lightly soiled, corner bumps; bookplates, pages with edge wear and occasional smudging. Otherwise a very good collection of rare books on the art of bookplates. From the James M. Goode Collection of Bookplates.
