Eighteenth century, red paper boards, worn, edges and corners rubbed, backstrip loose (included), all edges gilt, lacking free endpapers, front hinge split; holograph ex-libris inscription on title page and previous owner's name on following leaf, a1, and Zz4 (last leaf); minor paper loss in outer margin of aa2-aa3 not affecting text; partially erased pencil marks on last leaf and pastedown endpapers; pages over-opened at B8, small gutter tear in last leaf, each page ruled in red, few small holes from biopredation in margins and text, minor dampstains, and light soiling.
