Quarto. xx, 299, [300, blank], [301-304, Addenda and corrections] pages. Blue pebbled cloth with gilt spine titles. All edges sprinkled red. Light fraying to the spine ends and corners. Minor soiling to boards. Some puckering to front cover. Offsetting to endpapers. Minor foxing. Occasional toning and creasing to text, but overall a clean copy in very good condition. The first known full translation of Beowulf, from Old English to Latin.
