500 sets signed by Miller, the publisher, and seven aviation
pioneers, including Louis Bleriot, A. Whitten Brown, E. Herbert
Scott, Glenn Curtiss, Dr. Claude Dornier, Dr. Hugo Eckener, and
Henri Farman. Two quarto volumes. Approximately 11.25 x 8
inches. Profusely illustrated. Publisher's half parchment over blue
handmade paper boards, brown gilt morocco lettering labels,
matching blue handmade paper endleaves. Some pages uncut. Spines
just a bit dull, label on volume I a bit chipped or rubbed, some
rubbing and minor edgewear to bindings, bookplate in each volume.
Still, a near fine set, now housed in custom-built cloth slipcase.
