    Associated American Artists Titles

    [Associated American Artists]. SIGNED/LIMITED. Pair of Associated American Artist Titles. Published in New York by Associated American Artists. Walt Whitman. Leaves of Grass. 1966. No pagination. 7 original engravings illustrated by Terry Haass, accompanied by tissue guards. This edition is limited to 150 numbered copies, of which this is "23," and is signed by Haass. Small folio [7 x 10 inches]. Unbound pages housed in a chocolate brown portfolio and a slipcase. Gilt lettering on spine of portfolio. Some rubbing and wear on slipcase. Pages slightly cockled. On small blue mark on verso of front portfolio cover. A very good copy. [together with:] Daniel Berrigan. Encounters. 1965. 16 full leaves; no pagination. 7 black and white engravings by Robert E. Marx. This suite is limited to 60 numbered copies, of which this is "52," and signed by Berrigan and Marx on the limitation page. Each full sheet measures approximately 11 x 15 inches and is signed and numbered "52/60" by the artist. Unbound pages housed in a taupe cloth portfolio and slipcase. Small gray smudge on center of front cover. Light soiling and wear on slipcase. Very good.
