One of 550 numbered copies for the United States, this being number 163. Quarto. xi, [1, blank], 161,  pages. Thirteen color plates mounted on brown paper, with descriptive tissue guards. Fourteen black and white drawings.
Finely bound by the Chelsea Bindery in full red morocco, front cover and spine decoratively stamped in gilt to match original covers, spine paneled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, others uncut. Frontispiece loose and all but detached. Else a fine copy.
As Rackham was out of the country when Alice went to press, it became the only deluxe limited edition of his work which was issued unsigned.
