Grant Richards issue, limited to sixty copies, of which this is number fifty, signed by both Coburn and Wells beneath a hand-written limitation statement. Originally published by Mitchell Kennerley in 1911. Folio (14.75 x 11.25 inches; 375 x 285 mm.). [vi], 153, [1, blank], [1, note], [3, blank] pages; ten photogravures from plates prepared by Coburn mounted throughout. Publisher's light brown cloth over light grayish brown paper-covered boards; front board lettered in gilt, printed paper label affixed to spine; edges untrimmed. Upper corners renewed; boards bumped near crown, causing spine to rest just slightly askew; only faint, occasional soiling. A couple plates unglued at one corner. Near fine with subtle restoration work. A beautiful copy.
