    Winston S. Churchill Photograph Signed "Winston S. Churchill/1943" as British Prime Minister, 6" x 8" three-quarter length black and white photograph mounted on a 7.5" x 10.5" photo matte-board. Diagonal soiling in area across top of photograph and between Churchill's hands. Two dents on photo on Churchill's right lapel and in blank area to his left. On January 14, 1943, Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt met at Casablanca and declared that they would accept nothing short of unconditional surrender from any Axis power. Churchill, F.D.R., and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin met in Teheran November 28 - December 1, 1943 and reaffirmed their joint policy of accepting nothing less than an unconditional surrender from Germany. Excellent signature.
